If you would like to tour the city, there are three regular and two express transit routes in the Yellowknife Transit System. Buses are identified as follows:

• Route 1 – Borden/Downtown/Range Lake
• Route 2 – N’dilo/Downtown/Forrest Drive
• Route 3 – Saturday/Summer

Express - Borden/Northlands Express - Frame Lake South

There is no transit service on Sundays or Statutory Holidays

Buses run from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Monday to Friday. The Saturday Schedule operates from 8:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The transfer station is located at Sir John Franklin High School and allows transfers from Route 1 to Route 2 and vice versa.
